Karan Butalia graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from SRCC and holds a Masters in Business Economics from Delhi University. He has also completed his Executive Masters in International Business from IIFT Delhi. His interest in strategy took him to complete the Advanced Programme in Strategic Management from IIM Calcutta.

He brings with him over three decades of banking experience with the State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (now SBI), Mashreq Bank, IndusInd Bank and Axis Bank where he has handled leadership positions at the branch, regional, and national levels across various verticals spanning Information Technology, Foreign Exchange, Trade Finance, Retail Banking, Human Resources and Government Relationships.

Formerly the Head of Human Resource Business Partnering at Axis Bank, he has vast experience in organizing and undertaking training, recruitment and placement programmes. He also spearheaded the digital transformation traditional HR functions. In his role as the Chief Business Relationship Officer, Axis Bank, he represented the bank in its engagements with the Central and various state governments on matters relating to banking and economics. Karan also served on the Axis Executive Leadership team selected for the Duke Corporate Education program.

Ajay Kaistha is a Science graduate from Delhi University; Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance and has certifications in Forex, Know Your Customer & Anti Money Laundering (KYC & AML), Digital Banking from Institute of Banking and Finance. He is an International Certified Career Coach (ICCC- Certification by Mindler (India) & Career Development Alliance (USA)

Other certifications include Change Management (Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad), Building Leadership Skills (HEC, Paris), Improving Business through Culture of Health (HarvardX) & Mindshift – Break through Obstacles to Learning (McMaster University).

He has held various leadership positions in S.B.B.J (now SBI), Sanwa Bank, IndusInd & Axis Bank preceded by a short stint in Govt. of India as an Auditor. Ajay has been Head of Indian Operations for credit with Sanwa Bank; He has lead and handled various verticals at Regional and Zonal Levels in Credit, Retail, Audit, Branch expansion and Government business while working with Axis and IndusInd banks. He brings in-depth knowledge and extensive experience in domains of Banking operations and sales, man management, customer service, change management, establishing new ventures in a stellar career which has spanned over three decades.
